Born at Midnight (Shadow Falls #1) by C.C. Hunter"This isn't funny!" her father yelled. Sounds interesting, right? I would love to start on this book. It sounds like someone could relate to this book so far, and I love relatable books. But the eerie look and the werewolf and vampire vibe sorta has me thinking the story's gonna take me on an adventure. . . Goodreads has a summary that you should totally read. The reviews are all topsy turvy, but ahh! I didn't really read any! Spoilers are NOT my friends! Who knows, maybe the Shadow Falls books might become a favorite series of mine! | Bloodrose (Nightshade #3) by Andrea CremerI could hear each heavy beat of my heart. The sound seemed to ebb from my veins out of my body, traveling across the empty space between the shimmering portal and the dark house. Bloodrose seemed like a really intriguing book to get into. At least, it did when my friend offered it to me. I didn't know that it was the LAST BOOK IN THE TRILOGY!!!! I dunno, the book seems too. . . dramatic. Drama is nice. But good things should come in small amounts, yes? I was surprised to see bad reviews on this book after reading a little bit of it. The imagery is amazing, so I thought readers would appreciate such vivid details. I'm guessing it's just a whole lot of fangirls complaining over who this main character Calla chose in the end. Oh, look, I just spoiled it for myself. Arg. You know what, you never know. I found myself having the unpopular opinion of supporting Xander more than Ky in the Matched books! So, hey, maybe I'll give it a try and see what happens. |
Well, never ever ever have I heard about these books until my friend gave them to me after reading. I decided to take them, and uh, well. . . Let's investigate. So that's what's up! I'm looking forward to reviewing Savvy, Scumble, The Humming Room, blah dee da dee da! Book recommendations are welcome! Small round green vegetables!
