But anyway, was I the only one that actually cared about the music that played during the games?
Was I the only one that SoundHounded the song that goes like:
"Bum bum bum bum, dahhhh, dahhhh, dah dah dah dah dah dah dah dah-dah dah dah dah dah-dah dah dah dahhhhh! Dahhhh, dahhhh, dah dah dah dah dah dah dah dah-dah dah dah dah dah-dah dah dah dahhhhh!"
Well, turns out that song is called Bugler's Dream. The whole thing is sooo pretty and inspiring and AHHHHH! Here, listen to it here and see how it matches up to my version ^up there^.
Well, did you guys notice during the artistic gymnastics, on the tumbling mat thing, there was musical accompaniment? (I know, you're trying not to laugh while I say musical accompaniment.) How come they get fancy music? I should get fancy background music that swells majestically for everything I do! I prefer Dietro Casa by Ludovico Einaudi. Just put that on YoutubeRepeat, thank you very much.
Back to the music. I was a little creeped out by all the brightly colored people dancing around and singing songs I didn't know very well. Like, seriously? What song was Annie Lennox singing? And why did she look evil?
But who liked Imagine by John Lennon? Think about it: one my fave songs is playin' and some kid out there is asking his/her parents, "Who's John Lemon?" That's right, someone called him John Lemon. It's not me, I swear!!
Oh, and ummm. . . What's their faces? Take Down? Take off? Run down? Ohh, right, Take That. While people in Amuuurica were saying, "I don't know that song, it doesn't sound like a robot is singing it, I'm not listening to it," I was saying, "SOUNDHOUND IT SOUNDHOUND IT GOTTA SOUNDHOUND IT!!!" (In case you guys don't know, Soundhound is like Shazam. . . kinda.) I thought it was com-puh-LEET-ly inspiring and awesome. The song was called Rule the World.
*rumble rumble* Oh dear, is that my stomach? Well, better go eat my very very late and off schedule lunch. See ya, dahhlinks!
