The only good that came out of that was sorting my bookshelf. I saw my A Light in the Attic book by Shel Silverstein. Did you notice at first glance, he looks like a pirate?
Oh, and remember a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo--
*inhale*
--ooooooooooooooooong time ago when I gushed about the song White Nights by Oh Land? Well, there's another song of hers that she performed live, and it's fantastic! It's called Perfection. And it is, in fact, perfection.
0:00-0:20
So, the orchestra is playing. Well, it sounds like they're just tuning their instruments, it felt at first. But then they all stopped at the same time, so you know it was planned.
0:21-1:30
Drumroll, and then the choir. This is amazin'! I'm in advanced choir at school, and I find it hard for us to perfect everything, but this is really good. The harmonies are amazing. I'm thinking maybe the artist is somewhere in the choir, but I'm proved wrong later.
1:31-1:53
Oh, look, there she is. IN A FLOWER. Oh, orchestra, how I love you. You just elevate it so much more. 1:42 and 1:48, it's so beautiful, it goes up one key and it's ahhh.
1:54-2:04
Ooh, we're getting down. The choir is even bobbing and swaying. The orchestra is still doing their thang.
2:05-2:14
Okay, she's singing. Nice.
2:15
I dunno what that was but it was weirdly awesome.
2:16-2:49
Yeah, it's just singing. I like her voice. It's interesting.
2:50-3:26
Ha. Ha ha. HAHAHA. Ohmigosh the chorus. It's tear-jerking, cuz' there's the artist that's singing these beautiful lyrics, then the orchestra and the choir just make it all the more dramatic. The choir is doing fantastic with the harmonies and how loud they're singing, and the orchestra is playing songs that belong in James Bond movies. Like, woah.
3:27-4:10
I just love all the little things the orchestra does. Like, you see their bows go up and down when they strum the strings just to give it that extra touch.
4:11-4:46
Yay, the chorus! Did you see that one guy in the orchestra that's goin' crazy on his instrument? Ha. Haha. PASSION. And I love her guys in the back doing percussion n' stuff. Them and their crisp white outfits, puh-shaw.
4:47-5:09
This part is so fun. ^_^ Everyone's having fun, singing, swinging their arms around, playing their instruments. I especially love the time where the artist goes to face the back of the place. I wish more of the audience was frantically waving, heh. The orchestra added to it, I think.
5:10-6:34
AH. OHHH MI GAWSH. OH EM GEE. WOAH. WOAH. OH DEAR. EVERYONE'S ENJOYING THEMSELVES AND IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. AH. And I don't know what she said at the end, but I DON'T GIVE A TURD. I just love hearing this with my earbuds and listening to the constant hum of the music, it's really nice and beautiful and ah. . .
Well small round green vegetables, y'all!
